In all fairness his is just a "sport" by terms now, glad GM got wise with their stupid use of the SS on the slow 2.4l versions.

Are the pictures intentionally fuzzy, out of focus? (artistic effect?). Or have i had too much to drink?

not intentionally but the camera isn't the best. i'm working on getting a better camera already. i'd like a Canon too

Other than swapping the trunk for a non-winged one... there is not a goddam thing I would change on the tc SS.. I even love the wheels, which is a first for just about ANY factory tuner I've ever seen besides the STi. I wish I could justify the car payment lol...

im hopeing they give the pontiac g5 a GXP ill trade in my g5 gt for it. but i dont like that back end of the cobalts. that color is also the color i would get great looking car.

you mean if they supercharge or turbocharge the G5? i wish they did something for that model too

yeah, well there aren't any Imperial Blue Metallic cars around the state to trade me up. i got this color because it's rare.
i've only seen one coupe online that was a twin to this car. but if i could find someone with a wingless IBM trunklid then i prob would trade em up.
i'm not sure if the sedan trunklid fit the coupe. i'd have to check it out and see if it does

The Cobalt SS represents a very small volume out of all the cobalts that are sold which is why it would make no sense to come out with a G5 GXP being the G5 is an even more pointless car. Gm needs to quit selling the same car with different badges.
As for a real SS, I would like to see something from 1971 outhandle, outbrake and out run a 08 SS in the 1/4. It wouldnt even be close.

IMO SS should be used for limited run
specialty cars, also IMO there is nothing special or super-sport about an 171hp 2.4l VVT Ecotec.

Saying what you just said would be like saying the Z24 did not deserve the Z24 badge. I personal hate the badging sport, and Ls sport. I feel those are gay.

john - an ss is a higher up car then a z24. THATS why the z24 deserves the badge.
my opinion is the same as joe's. the SS stands for super sport. not just a 171hp engine with a wing and a lip kit. i love how gm went to the 'sport'. then youve got the 'super sport' in the SS.
and rodimus- could call on the 08tc spanking the 71 ss stuff. i believe the same exact thing.
