The redesigned car, which is set to be a 2010 model, will replace the current Mazda 3, which debuted in 2005. The Mazda 3 which is sold under the Axela name in Japan.

I was just saying the other day they needed this in a Sedan because I was pretty heart set on one for a while, but I like the sedan better than the hatch. Hmmm...I may have to reconsider my car choices when I get back from my deployment.

Wow, I didn't think Mazda3s could be less appealing to me, but now I guess it is. It all went downhill after they discontinued the Protege for me.

Damn what's with all the sharp body line?? I just hate that.

I think that looks pretty good.

Those taillights are the ugliest thing i've seen since the Chrysler Sebrings. It's really the only bad thing on an otherwise beautiful car.

I had something really funny to put here but it was too long.

Not too bad... some sharp lines like someone else said.

The 6 has some similar lines on it too, and it looked awesome as well.

Engine options are expected to consist of two four-bangers -- a 2.0L direct-injection unit that should produce somewhere in the neighborhood of 150 hp and a 2.5L with 170 horsepower. Expect a six-speed manual or an optional five-speed automatic to handle the cog swapping. The 2010 Mazda3 sedan is expected to begin hitting showrooms early next year.
