Nice pups.

The car was already clean when you started. I guess it will be cleaner when you finish but that seems like a lot of work for a car that was already nice.

Very nice ride.

Wish you better luck with your VW than the three I had. ( I needed to be an electrical engineer if I wanted to keep em)

did you as least put a water pump in it while the engine was out? Plastic water pumps FTL (personally I would have done a timng belt as well)

And did you put a bigger turbo on that while the motor was out?

Love it though man.

Why is it so popular on VW's to have tires so small and the rim stick out so far? I am not exactly "hating" here, but I think the stretched tire look is damn ugly. Everything else about your GTI I absolutely love, so please enlighten me on why stretched tires on VW's is like lip kit's on J's. Every single one seems to NEEED them to fit in.....

um, it is so when you put spacers and wide rims, you can lower it more. its just a euro style thing i guess. i thought the same thing at first too, but it grew on me.

it's not just vw's anymore though...

most of the "aggressive" street built subarus on nasioc are rocking like 10" wide wheels with 215-225's on them... add to that the 4-5 degrees of camber (minimum) and pulled/rolled fenders to get the wheels to fit under the car...

personally, i'd rather have a tire that takes advantage of the width of the wheel... but to each his own.

v dub looks great!

schweet! I have to agree that the car looked fantastic when you got it, I personally wouldn't have done that much to it, but looks like you're doing some really nice quality work. Can't wait to see it finished!
