well it depends on if i paint the roof black or not. im really debating on gianna blitz wheels.
if i get the roof painted black then i will get the wheels with the black inserts
if i dont paint the roof then i will just get them chrome with no inserts.
i plan on running 22x8.5 up front and 22x10 in the rear. the wheels have a nice huge lip so it should give the car a nice look with the staggered setup.

tint laws are very much enforced, i just havent had a problem yet. i usually just roll my front windows down if i see a cop. also with the cover for the sunroof on the inside, if its closed it usually makes the front windows look much darker

I'm on the fence about the chrome window trim. More-so when and if you paint the roof black (which would be badass BTW) I think the bling might look out of place. Those rims will look awesome though.

I say nay to 6000K Hid's, stick with 4200K the blue'ish color looks cheep and tacky.
Color of the car is pure tit's though I must say, potential rim choice is nice as well bro

i have to agree with you on that too. when i bought the car it came with the chrome b pillars. with the white car and the windows not tinted it wasnt too bad but with them tinted now they do stick out.

depends, if you get quality hids and not the cheap 150 dollar kits its a really nice touch. it gives a more crisp white light more than a bluish light. not to mention the car has blue pearl in the paint which will go well.

i looked into a cts before i chose this car. overall i love the room the gs has. i havent done any interior shots really but the car is huge inside.

paint roof. 22's will make your car ride really crappy, been in a few lex with 22's no bueno. 20's would look perfect.
Can't say I'm a fan of bling rims, but it's a Lexus, and I guess it's more of a VIP car than anything (I can't imagine anything that big being too fast, really. Especially with a ghetto booty like that thing has. You don't generally call chicks or cars with a huge rear end "Sporty".), So if you like it, do it. For all I know, it would look tits.
As for the roof, I think it would look a little out of place painted black. The paint all matches, and it's a beautiful colour.

theres several people with the 3rd gen gs that have 22s and say it rides perfect. even coming from guys in brooklyn and the roads they have up there.

the car is not meant to be fast. it does get up and go when it needs to but i dont ever recall calling the car "sporty". if i wanted a sporty lexus, i would of bought an is-f.
as far as the roof goes, the only way to pull it off is to have very
dark tint to make it look good. heres a few pics of a 3gs with a black roof

lol yes i know the pillars are killing it. the chrome trim around the outline of the windows though standard though. all 3gs' have it. the only thing that seems to be added on this car was the chrome b pillars and the little pillar on the rear door.
rip the pillars off....
My caddy had those stupid things on em when I bought it too... It took me to long to get up the nerve to do it, after I did I was sooooo glad I did...
the Lex looks hot though, Id prefer wheels with more spokes if i went that large, but 22's do look right at home on there

you know im debating about just pulling it off but im afraid of how its going to be underneth. i mean hell they probably came from the factory that way and its probably been on there for some time so im kinda curious about pulling it off. worse comes to worse i can order some new pillars from sewell.
i looked into a whell with more spokes the first time around and the more and more i started to see these cars with them, it doesnt look all that good. i thought a nice 10 spoke wheel would look awesome on these cars. turns out they arent all that great.

The pics on that one look okay, but I still can't say it's something I'd do. And no, you didn't say it was sporty, but I think the thought in my head at the time was "I could see that on a Lotus or a GTi or an NSX, but not on a Lexus". I just fail at communicating whole points sometimes.
