i had a 1996 cavalier 2.2 auto with 220k that was primer gray had bsck brake probs bad egr valve bad tps no cat converter but a big muffler and got a 1996 lexus es300 all pwr leather 6 disc changer 187k tell me what u guys think
yea and the lexus has new tires batt and alternator and really cold ac
id say good swap. others will say expensive parts, blah, hard to work on, blah.

thats only the ES models though. the ES Lexus is pretty much a Camry with hids (as my buddy would put it)
187k is a lot of miles for anything. You don't know how it was maintained.

nothing wrong with an ES, my fiance has a 96 ES300 with about 80k on it. It's a nice comfortable car, no issues at all with it except it warps front rotors like once a year. Other then that no repairs ever, just mainenance.
yea i bought the cav 4 500 in bad shape wantn 2 fix up then girlfriend had baby so needed somethin better and i got off original owner who changed oil every 3000 and used mobil synthetic only
