makes me glad that i never bought the 3.7 LT1 something about those I5 just irks me
that truck is sweet... and i bet its pretty damn quick too!!!!!!
Flares/body on the concept looks rediculous IMO.
However the 5.3, congrats GM! (/sarcasm) Should of been an option from the get-go. Nice to see it considering you can buy a @!#$ midsize car with that engine.

I think they will be puttign the 5.3 with some of the 4wds but ALL ZQ8s are 2wd since they are a "sport" truck
everything is OK, for a concept/. i just hope they get rid of the ridiculous gauge collection. put them back in the APC isle of advance autoparts for the mexicans to fight over.
I hope they offer it as a bodykit. Always liked the widebody look.

my understanding is, is that the 5.3 thats going into the colorado is the same thats in the express van so there still working out the details for the 4wd if there even gonna make it 4wd i know you can't get it in regular cab
The flared truck reminds me a bit of the Dodge Sidewinder concept truck...
Both are sweet vehicles and look like they'd be a hell of a lot of fun to drive....but not to fuel

I love my I5 but I would rather have the V8 (no I'm not trading my truck in, going to swap engines hehe)
dont mean to jack the thread but geeds how do you like the yhe i5 any major problems with it. my uncle is eying up a 09 ranger (last year) or a 09 colorado. with the same options 4x4 5spds, the i5 is supposed to get 34 mpg and the 4.0 ranger is supposed to get 25 mpg ?

Even being a nice shade of blue can't save that truck....
And it needs more than a V8 for me to buy it.....
And GM simply refuses to offer an affordable model for people to play with....
that concept is way to ugly, they should of tubbed it out instead of the flares. I like the one with the 327, its about time.

lol I dont know who told you 34 mpg but it varies from 18-24mpg
my uncle was told this im assuming from the dealer but i thought it was a little out of whack. no major recalls from gm other wise.
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
