so these rich street racers have just proven that the GTR gets spanked by a much cheaper Corvette than the one everyone tries to compair it to.... good. now all the Nissan fanboys(as if they didn't have enough reason with the Nurburgring results) can STFU already.

i dont doubt a corvette can beat the gtr, but by as much as it did? somethin doesnt add up
unless the GTR is like an almost 14 sec car then i guess those vids are more believable
i am just sayin, on a roll, that was a lot of space
Once the GTR driver saw the Vette was leaving him behind, he let off. So it didn't just magically fall on it's face.

well iirc stock zo6's with drag radials have hit 11.8's which is nasty fast
something that far behind in the track may only be a half second off
but then again they are racing on the highway and probably went way past the 1/4

I'm not sure about the cars in the middle east, But The GTRs in japan are electronically limited to 180 km/h ( 118 mph) until the car in on a Nissan approved track that has been stored in the cars on board GPS computer, once the car computer has matching coordinates that its on a track, it removes the limiter. Then there is a a very expensive mandatory service that must be preformed after leaving the track..
So maybe that GTR was topping out at 180? not sure thou.
well i am not too well informed on the GTR anyways so i have no idea, i just didnt think it would get demolished as if it were a cav

Agreed. You'd think the GTR was brought down by God himself. I'm tired of hearing about the damn thing. Everything that I have personally read/seen have said the Vette is faster.

on street tires the z06 run 11.7 bone stock from the showroom floor. it has ran 10.8 on DR's and 10.1 on intake and exhaust and DR. the z06 will definitely be a purchase on my list in the near future to compliment my 02 vette

thats a huge difference in times and mph.
lol I remember when the evo 8 came out. car and driver had a 13.1 or 13.2 I think. Everyone thought they were badass. Get to the track and 75% of the people were running 13.8-14.0+ Hell I even remember seing an 04 gto run a 15.2@93.
So I never cared about what the gtr ran around the track with a pro badass driver. OR what it can do once at the track with a launch control setup, pro driver... and an expensive dealer service. lol

A stock C6 Z06 can do 10.9s in the 1/4 mile... have seen a signed time slip in person from a track official at Firebird race way in phoenix..Guy was in my racing school. Stock tires and stock exhaust, stock intake ect. which I can say will leave the GTR far behind from a roll or a dig or on any road course.. pretty bad if you ask me after all this Z06 KILLER hype has gone on for so long and i believe i even saw some ads trying to compair it to a ZR1? ahaha that I cant wait to see, a side by side battle
and actually the guy who i was talking about in my bonderaunt racing school who did the 10s in his vette, i think the link that was posted just above me is to the guy i was refering to.
