Haltech have been busy developing their new R35’s ECU and managed to tweak out a significant gain in power. Exhaust has been upgraded but not many other details have leaked out yet. The car was run up on the dyno and made 356 Kw (477hp) at all wheels up from 298 Kw (400hp) on the same dyno.

11.1 with a 1.015 R/T...not bad. Now if they only made the car in a manual.

You realize reaction time has nothing to do with e/t...right?
not to be an ass or start any thing but thats still not as fast as a stock C6 Z06 can do. A guy in my bonderaunt racing school had a 1/4 time slip signed by the track official saying it was all stock with a 10.98 .. no re programing or anything, just off the show room floor (this guy is a very good driver though, only guy I couldnt out run in my class)
so much for it being the Z06 killer since it still cant out run it on the track either.
but dont get me wrong I would still give anything for a Skyline

thats one drive out of how many z06 drivers? can just about every z06 driver break into the 10s with a stock z06? judging by that slip i dont think the driver of gtr was all that great of a driver and to be just about .2 seconds off isnt that bad considering the driver of the z06 to quote you "is a very good driver". both cars are still pure sex though

That says it all kids.
Still ~1.8 second 60' is not spectacular right? Its not an unheard of time for a RWD w/ slicks. It's an impressive piece of work no doubt, but I wouldnt give any of my extremeties for this car.

thank you for that. i just looked at the slip. either way its still a sexy car
Launch control and AWD to a 1.7 60'
I do 1.5 60' on MT Drag Radials with my meesly 465 RWHP and go .3 faster in the 1/8
I still can't stand the over hyping of this stupid car
I will never like it because of that
Ya I kind of agree with LowFire on this one... for all their bashing and posting of "Z06 killer" ads its pretty sad when it cant hold true to all its hype. I would say it might be a close match in 1/4mile and road course with a C5 Z06... but put the C6 Z06 against it and I really can not see where they are getting the z06 killer title from. not to mention if you put it up against a ZR1.. but then that also is a different price range

Curb weight...
ZO6: 3180lbs
GTR: 3800lbs
Difference: 620 lbs
How would the ZO6 do with 600 lbs more weight on? GTR is impresive to be neck and neck while still being a porker too.

Maybe if Nissan hadn't put all of that high tech stuff in it and make it AWD only....yes I know the Skylines always have been that way...well those of the past 2 decades...., but why doesn't Nissan offer a stripper model? No AWD or anything else which helps the computer control the handling, beyond any suspension components like the Z06. I think if they did that then we could really see what it's capable of.
Stock Z06s run 10s with drag radials, not impressed

10s for sure with drag radials.. and like I said in my post above I know a guy who has done 10.9 literally with a bone stock C6 Z06. Stock tires stock intake, stock exhaust stock every thing.
not to mention you can pick up a C6 Z06 for about $45,000 now
