So I'm a major idiot and traded cars with my ex for a couple weeks. In the process he let his gf who has no @!#$ license drive my truck and she got into an accident. Of course it being her fault, and insurance isn't going to do @!#$ for it I have to find a new bumper.
So I turn to the lovely JBO for recommendations on trustworthy sites I can go to for S10 Blazer parts (98). Dont want to risk getting screwed over from a bad site. Or any sites that sell the OEM chrome / plastic bumpers. Or I may use this as the opportunity to go aftermarket. Although he's being a cheap ass and don't want to spend over $150 to fix it.

First off, don't trade cars.
Second, have you tried wrecking yards?
Third, DON'T TRADE CARS!!!
I know I know... but its been so nice only spending $40 a week in gas compared to the $80-100 that I usually do with the truck
the couple wrecking yards I checked with don't really have anything in decent shape front end wise.

Just use his bumper. Also, "Trade" and "Ex" don't go together. They're mutually exclusive terms. Always.

^^^ Werd.
If a wrecking yard hasn't got anything decent, I'd take the $150,and tell your ex he's paying the difference or you're calling his insurance agent and suing for damages (it's small claims, and if you stick to whatever it costs, less $150... you oughtta be okay.)
Good luck
Yeah that wont work, it was his gf driving a vehicle registered in my name and she doesn't have a valid license. Insurance isn't going to touch that one at all.

Go to small claims court with it, you don't need to worry about insurance. The vehicle was in his possession and he allowed someone unauthorized to drive it and it was damaged. The liability falls on him, take him to court. You will win.

Your insurance should cover it, unless you dont have any either.
