I am dying over here. My friend has bought the 1st one in Canada and Nissan won`t realese it to him and won`t tell him why. He put a 15G deposit down on it last Aug. No wonder he is so pissed.
There are 4 of them in a wharehouse in Toronto and he still can`t get it. He was supposed to get it 3 1/2 months ago. They wo`nt even tell him what color he is getting. I sooooo can`t wait to drive it.

I would NEVER pre-order a car and pay a huge deposit and not get to pick my own color. Screw that and screw Nissan. That color and that photographer make the GT-R look pretty good. But I still wouldn't shell out the money for one... Looks and performance and price say go with a Z06, or a couple other way more fun and sexier options.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

Its not a skyline..... its just GT-R. It just carries the GT-R part and thats it. But a nice car either way. There are a billion videos on streetfire if no one has taken a look yet.

They need the upgraded crash elements. We're getting ones made for US standards, and apparently someone forgot to tell the lads in Japan that we have different crash compliance laws.

As far as the 15G deposit: He's an idiot. The Z06 is cheaper by far and available, and with about $3-4 in better tires, it's as fast in the corners as the GT-R (not to mention, lighter, faster in the straights, easier to hang the butt end out without flicking, and has muscle car styling as opposed to "I WANNA BE A SHOGUN ZORD FOR REALZ!" styling even though that's entirely subjective).

I feel that I am in the minority when i say that I think the car is atualy ugly. I do not like it at all.

You definitely aren't alone. I personally think the photography and color are the only things that make the car look good in these photo shoots.

I like the Matte black, but I'm not going crazy for the car at all. Two arrived and left at the local stealership my mom works at. I was told the sound of the exhaust wasn't befitting of the car.
