Needs a smaller radiator.
from what I've read it starts to spool about 7K rpm
it is completely useless no question about it, braging rights/my turbo is bigger then your turbo @!#$ talking more then
look atthe size of it... I don't know why you would doubt that it came off a big rig
Congrats Mr. Honda owner: You only have to get that bad-boy up to 8000 rpms, hold it there while you burn up 100+ race gas/alcohol/injected water, and in 9 seconds, you'll still be driving a Civic that costs more than a car that's much more competent on the track and will actually take a corner half-decently.
Bravo, and thank you for making the import community that much more respectable.

Agreed
I snapped that at a car show a few years ago. He was a local. It peaked right around 500HP on pump gas. Turbo isn't even half the size of that one you posted.
That looks a little bigger than the one we are running on our civic.... We've got a Garrett GT40r.
If that is a big turbo, then what would this be classified under??

I would classify it under another big turbo thats looks to be prety much the same size
Nah, you guys got it all wrong. Its all a matter of perspective. The turbo only *looks* huge next to that puny engine.

Where's that old forum sig that said: "So let me get this straight: your Honda has 1.8 litres, but my bottle of mountain dew has 2l?"
gotta love that heat exchange from header to turbo, just a little close

Looked like it touched 50-51 to me.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

I would say it hit 50 PSI on lift off. I thought it was funny the oil temp gauge said less then 140. Asking for trouble doing that on a cold (not opperating temp) lube system.
