Finally got a crappy pic of my new rims.
Here's the old bling bling
Here are the new ones. 18" Motegi MR7's in Hyper Black
I like the new ones much better!
not sure 18's r way to big IMO
Cobalt SS/SC
07 - VICTORY RED - LSD - GM STAGE 2 - I/H/DP - SPORTLINES -
260whp 241wtq
not my style but definitely better than those chrome monstrosities lol
Anything's better than chrome even if it has to be MR7's I suppose, looks good

Being not trendy is the trendy thing to do now and days.
I could care less if everyone and their grandma had them. If I like em I'm still going to sport them. Plus, it was pretty much a direct trade, lol. I like them but if I bought a set of new rims it wouldn't be MR7's. I really don't see any of them rolling around here. There is one other set i've seen but they're silver not the hyper black.
much better. Personaly I think 18's are to big for most cars though.
I agree 100% I didn't really want 18's but like I said it was a trade. I couldn't pass that up seeing as what I had on there. I'm having rubbing issues because I went for a 205/40/17 to a 235/40/18 I really wanted to stay 17 or maybe even 16's. Eventually i'll still be purchasing some rims but that will be down the road and I didn't want to keep rolling around on some bling bling. These tires are almost brand new and the rims are in really good shape. So when I had a chance to get them for nothing but the cost of my rims I jumped all over it.
You got the better end of the deal.
Personally, I wouldn't have gone with 18" rims (I'd go 16", absolute maximum 17" Over that, you're losing mechanical advantage and actually sacrificing accelleration), but those fit the car better, lookswise at least.
GAM, I agree. No need to type out a long response as to why I did it anyways though. See above post lol.
now paint them (or powder coat) them bronze!!
but they do look better

Really? All the "cool" cars are in Okaloosa county. You should see something or the other more often than you think. They are everywhere in WA state however.
