How about less time on the revlimiter???
Hate to say it but I could probably replicate that "launch" with my moms stock SS S/C.

i dont see how you can have 260 whp on those mods
dyno show it...and the main reason i like dyno is just to see the hp gain after mods that i put on
1st dyno Bone Stock
207whp 195wtq
2nd dyno
GM Stage 2
Fujita CAI
246whp 227wtq
3rd dyno
GM Stage 2
Fujita CAI
Vibrant Header Downpipe High Flow Cat
260whp 241wtq
Cobalt SS/SC
07 - VICTORY RED - LSD - GM STAGE 2 - I/H/DP - SPORTLINES -
260whp 241wtq
but i did put only 207whp stock which is nothing crazy most guys are over that on cobaltss.net

In my household my 98 Z24 (used to be my moms) far surpasses my moms SS S/C as far as fit and finish, and over all quality. The 98 went into the dealer maybe twice where as the Cobalt has been in more times so far. The Cobalt is so similar to a J car that they even have the J-body door rot.
My mom still requests to drive the 98 from time to time as she still loves that car. Im sure if I left the keys out she would take it.

Are you smoking crack???
The reliability is a wash.
but the fit and finish.........
My cavalier is NOTHING compared to my cobalt interior wise. If she has door rot already there is something seriously wrong with the car.
I guess its all a matter of opinion.
Everything inside creaks and rattles. Dash trim was falling off. It even feels cheaper inside. My 98 has a few minor rattles but nothing bad at all. My 02 sounded like it was going to fall apart. Maybe the 98 was a mid week car and the 02 and my moms SS S/C was a monday or friday car. The door rot was taken care of but I fully expect it to be back. The trunk and hood are starting to do the same @!#$ where the inner and outer panels are joined. The car is also on its third set of wheels because the finish just flakes off. nothing like a 10K mile wheel with patches of paint missing. My mom works for GM and has been in contact with the plant manager since 2 weeks before she took delivery of the car. My 98 just has a better over all fit and finish to the interior. Its dirty and nasty from work now, but it still has fewer squeaks and rattles. Maybe after 98 the quality at Lordstown took a @!#$, but regardless I prefer to be in my car for a drive that isnt just for fun and whine. The blower does sound awesome, I will give the car that much.
what is your a/f ratio because i have a hell of a lot more than that and im only putting down 240 with a 11.5 a/f across the board. stage 2 pulley is only a 3.0 and intake header and downpipe catless or not still isnt that much mod wise. im not bashing just trying to make lite of it
dont know never hooked up A/F

most dynos wont even hook up without a wideband wether provided from you or them.

That sucks man. I would hate my car if it did that @!#$.
My mom isnt exactly thrilled with the over all fit and finish/quality, but she does enjoy driving it for the most part. Im sure by now they have fixed most of the trim issues on the cars and the last set of wheels that were put on are from a newer model SS S/C (same basic design just slightly different and from a different supplier). Oh and I almost forgot teh door moldings are fading. Going to see what I can do about salvaging them.
Stage 2 with bolt ons makes 260whp easy
I do miss that blower whine though, almost makes me want to put the M62 back on, hrmm well maybe not that much

Am I the only one confused? I'm not impressed at all by those vids. I don't get what you were trying to prove by burning out and then speeding on some random road? Don't get it at all. No dyno sheet, no time slip, hell doesn't even look like much fun. Just plain beating on your car. Whatever floats your boat though.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
