Well.. THE first G8 arrived at a local dealership.. V6, auto, red..STUNNING, I mean absolutely beautiful. ...... with a price tag of just......
$ 45 699 !!!!!!!! HOLY S&*T !
NOW It was to me one of the BEST looking sedans I have ever seen in my life... BUT the price tag for a v6 is just rediculous..... I hope this price was only so high because it is one of the first.. OR else my dreams of owning such a car are never going to happen... I would rather get into a HIGH end 3 series, AUDI or a Lexus @ that price, and for the simple fact that the name on them keeps depreciation to a minimal... I am going back tomorrow to confirm this price.

I just went to the GMCanada site, built the G8 topped out with everything. (I mean EVERYTHING) The price I got was $42,769
Dealer is marking up like stupid because they figure people are stupid, and in this case they are because they're juicing the price like crazy. Delivery and PDI wouldn't be included in that price, but realistically that's $1500-2000 unless you're in Northern Quebec.

yeah dealer markup sucks. but where the hell are you? we have had g8's on the lots for months down here. and not just one but multiple at a time.
G8's are not likely to be high sellers in Canada.
The Pontiac/Buick/GMC/Hummer dealer I used to deal with has about 8 of them on the lot right now, and they're all marked up. We actually had the G8 last year before anyone (*but to be fair it was 3 of them, and they were at the Kapuskasing Cold-weather testing facility).
3 years.
I give the G8 model 3 years.

Are you sure it's not tax added? 15% of the most expensive V6 G8 comes to arout what you've listed.
I've never yet seen a dealer put the taxes in on a sticker price.

6% Goods and Services Tax,
8% Provincial purcase Tax.
Went back today, I asked them about the price...... and it seems once it goes "on sale" on Wednesday it will be about 7k less. SO 38k ish for a not even fully loaded v6 G8...
