ill take the gtr please and thank you... ITs a friggin GTR and a NISSAN by the way

not a corvette.......

hmmm would I rather spend my money on a NISSAN or GM??? easy question

the spec will murder the Zr1.... the gtr compares with the z06 the Spec V GTR is like the GTR

the only reason why it was that close is because the GTR was on racing tires and had a pro driver. the ZR1 was on street tires and with a non-pro drive ( good drive though but a little rough)

fight all you want the vette is still the faster and overall better performer... just gotta wait till the V-Spec is out, then that should make things interesting.

The Nissan looks like it rides a bit rough.

you forgot race gas and a special tune

dont get me wrong, the GTR is an amazing car. especially for the money. but the ZR1 could easily shave a few 10ths off with just a pro driver, let alone not having a 20mph head wind on the straight. add racing tires, high octane fuel, and a tune, and you'd be amazed at what it could do.

id like to se a Z06 with some good tires go out there and see what they could pull.

what are the specs on a spec v? or rumored specs, anyway

Andy

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.

V-spec has not been mentioned by Nissan, so EVERYTHING about it is speculation. Some GM "fanbois" even suggest that the N-ring GTR run was done by a V-spec equipped car.

ZR1 - 7:26.4
GTR - 7:29.03
Z06 - 7:42.99 - pre-production, poor weather, C6R driver

From videos:
GTR understeers like, well, a consumer car, making it a "safer" drive
ZR1 goes like stink

I'm one of the few who thinks the GTR looks good I guess.

And the saga continues...............

Both cars deliver insane performance period. These cars should be celebrated not argued over.

Why would you want to see that? We all already know what Top Gear will say, they hate Americans and American vehicles. So they will obviously say that the GTR is a million times better then a ZR1.

The new GTR will lose a lot of the appeal it has when it becomes more common. The only reason Skylines have ever been popular here in the states is because of the rarity.

The CTS and z06 both got positive reviews. (They only disliked the "cheapness" as they referred to it of the interiors. Jeremy disliked the CTS curves.

BUT it is North American styling.... "not British"

AND as said above, much of it is sarcasm.
