the car is bone stock besides the exhaust and rev limiter and 3 more psi....
that mean stock header, stock intake box, no boost in 1st gear...

car is an animal.

actually they added about 9 pounds of boost... regardless i see you point that the car is pretty close to stock other than that. still not overly impressed.

Im pretty sure hahn said they were on 19ish from factory. All cars a different boost levels depend on alot. some delta js/kappas run 10 some run 20.

ok when their gt35r set up runs 11s on low boost then maybe you will be impressed. lol

How can a car stock running c5 times not impress you?

With boost in 1st they very well may touch 12s......where as their fully built 2.2 is running 11s....

I don't think upping the boost is the wisest way to try to make more power on the stock hairdryer, er, turbo. Yes the car and the powerplant are impressive, but to make the most on the stock turbo, tuning is key (yes that phrase is over used, but in this case its especially true). Tuning, exhaust, and appropriate intercooler will do so much more for this car, as well as the LNF kappas

That's very little work to put a car into the low 13s. Especially on street tires. As the post written by the driver indicates, there is a lot of room for improvement. What do you want to bet they could make a 10 second car out of it? Maybe not this season, but it'll happen. The LNF is a very new engine. A better turbine, intercooler and some drag radials could make it a much better engine. Then you could probably do even more, depending on the turbine used.

Where I would agree with you, Hahn has been playing with this same motor and turbo set-up in the Solstice, Sky cars for a while now, so they have found what the stock turbo can or can't do.

What I'm not impressed with it the SS/SC's.

my car is bone stock besides exhaust and the turbo kit and tune. im running 9 psi and a 13.7. im going to run drag radials tomorrow night and hoping to get a low 13. i would think that with that much psi it would be a lot quicker.

The car is heavy, makes no boost in the low end, and has a way overworked turbo.... are your questioning why its not impressive?

1- its not stock

2- my bad, here I am thinking I'm aloud to have an opinion different from yours

3- stop swinging from Hahn's nuts and stop putting LOL after everything you post

and one more thing... a 13.2 is not almost 12's

Re: Hahn Almost Cracks 12s!!

I seem te recall a mostly stock 2.4 with a T3 based turbo going 13.2 on 10 PSI ( I think that is all it was) and drag radials.

Re: Hahn Almost Cracks 12s!!

eh, that's OK. But, not what I would call overly impressive

You are right, 13.2 is a low 13 second pass that will eventually be a 12.x second pass.
