ok so i found what i belive to be a decent deal on a truck. its a 95 chevy c1500 2wd 350 5spd. i needs pretty much a whole front clip. the good it starts up and runs great clean title (accedent not reported to insurance by previous owner) 115,000 miles. and i can pick it up for $400.
so my question is do you think it is a good idea? i have been looking for a sport/muscle truck project for awhile and i would love to get a 4th gen chevy and do a 5th gen front end swap and i think this is a good truck for it. what do you guys think?
95 is a throttle body injected motor , and they run for a long time when you take care of um
400 is pretty reasonable , youll probably put another 500-1000 for a front clip and have a great truck
Yeah sounds good to me. I'd go for it.
yeah and everthing except the front end looks good not a dent or any rust and the frame looks great. 350 sbc with a 5 spd dropped 2/4 on 19's up front and 20's in the back with a new body style front end and it should be great.
my g/f has a '94 with 210xxx miles, runs like a beast. The body is in dis-array in some spots, but the motor is rock solid.
$400 is worth it, well worth it.
$400? Go for it, it's a steal.
2010 Honda Fit LX
Anything that runs is worth $400.
that was kinda my opinion. im not in any hurry to buy it. cause the lady that is selling it isnt really try to hard toi sell it and will hold it as long as i want. plus if i buy it i can even store and fix it in her garage cause its my gf's mom.
do it....but dont delay.....
i plan on doing it i just have to get the cash cause i just spent what i had saved on some new subs.
hell even if it wasnt fixable you could get your money back in parting and scrap, do it up
should be mine soon. will start the new job in 3 days and im buying it out of my first 2 paychecks. like i said it is my gf's mom and its not going anywhere she is only selling it to me. or she want me to fix it for her those are the two options. but this should be a fun project. i cant wait to get started. i might even start on it 2maro just by getting it all cleaned up and ready to get started on.
