Started glassing on my gf's birthday present today, I'll take pics along the way, since it's my first fiberglass sub enclosure:

looks like some fun there
waiting to se how this comes out my sister has oner of these cars
Got a lot of work done on this today. Basically everything is done but the box.
We'll start off with a few fresh layers of fiberglass...
Then I ran the power and remote wire and cleaned up the wiring to the amp:

I know the amp is dirty, but for some reason after I cleaned it from flood damage, it still looked like that
nice, i just picked up a '97 Sebring... i was wondering how i was going to mount my sub and amp once i get ready to put all that in.
^ I did. Only because the firewall grommet was buried underneath a crammed assortment of @!#$ under the hood. I tried for about an hour to get to it, but no luck. I don't see a big problem with the wire running through the fender?
Just about there with the box.... Few more layers in the uneven areas, then probably one more over the whole thing, then I'll start putting it together!
Got almost all of the box done today. All that remains is carpeting and install!

Should have this complete either tonight or tomorrow!
your fabbing skills in the trunk are awesome. that should look clean as hell when it's all done. BUT running it through the fender is a no-no and those power and ground wires look TINY.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

tiny amp = tiny wires
it looks like 8 gauge which is plenty for that amp
I thought the wires were small too, then I saw the size of the amp. Should be alright.
Nice work too.

Alrighty guys got this all installed tonight. I'd still like to get a trim ring for the woofer, but I think it looks (and sounds) pretty good:
Let me know what you think!

Hmmm just noticed in the last pic the carpet looks like 2 different colors.... I hope that's just the pic cuz both pieces came off the same roll!
Looks good except for the wire through the fender...
if you can't get it through a grommet, drill a hole somewhere. shouldn't be too hard, especially with 8ga wire...
looks good, but why didn't you use grey carpet?
They didn't have grey dark enough to match. I thought the tan might make for some interesting contrast.
damn thats a pretty clean install! come make me one
