J-BOM @ a car show! Thumbnails for 56k pleasure.

Thats right.. We don't just perform. We clean up pretty nicely also. Had a local car show this weekend hosted by Oaktown Trucks to support the American Cancer Society. Great turn out. We had 6 J cars there but the majority was Scions and Mini trucks. There is plenty of Jbody for me to post in this forum! Jbom members pictured are Acav2envy (Steve), Ruen (Ryan), Laurie with the taz cavy, and myself along with special guests ECOmark (Mark) and Ecoenvy (Mike). Laurie took best of class in Domestic Sport Compact Mild. Congrats again! Ryan unfortunantly suffered a windshield lose about 1/4 into the show. The wind picked up, snatched the WW hood, and quickly threw it into his windshield/roof. Hood held up strong! No noticable damage to the hood although the car does need a new windshield. Which in my mind is easier to replace than an rare ass hood like that!! Sorry for your luck Ryan! Anyways onto the pictures. Thumbnails for those 56k people! This show is always one of my favorites. It's in my home town and I get to catch up with all the locals I have lost contact with! Pictures are in some kinda random order.. Too lazy to arrange them! Enjoy and STFU NOOBS!

DO WHAT!???? Damn that sucks!

How did that happen? Something break on the hood/come loose?

Forgot to latch the hood? Don't seem like the wind ALONE would do that.

I've gone 100mph+ with mine (JSP) & never had that happen. (knock on wood)

Pictures look great. Congrats to Laurie!

I figured I was clear but guess not! It was propped up in the hood latch area (halfway up) and the wind caught it. Luckily people around started grabbing others hoods to save them. Mine seamed to be next on the list! We then ziptied the hood props to our latches for added safety.

And what else would ya do with an automatic Mustang? hehe

We really need to line up at the track, totally seams to be a drivers race! Cars areequally matched! Which stage kit is your Hahn kit anyways??

Well its not a whole hahn kit anymore!!

Just the manifold, turbo and piping!! No longer have the FMU or the accel injectors.. Im running the Reflash with the 02 Rail and bigger injectors... There is so much more power if i could get a HPT tune!

I woulnt mind lining up at a trace!!

The first run we did i was in low boost at 6.8psi then the next time i was at 11psi and yes i agree the cars are equally matched!!

Track Day here we come!
