New V-Rod pictures ('Drop it like its hot' edition)
Monday, May 26, 2008 10:03 AM
Just figured that I'd post up some new pictures of the bike:

Then the pigs tried to get at me, so I had to drop it like it's hot:

Yes, air ride. Insane amounts of cornering clearance, Caddy-like ride, and the true baller status crushed-to-the-ground look.

Lol... I started looking for the night rod special pic when I saw this. Beat me to it, and i'd want one just like that. Flat black.

Blah! Normally, I like blacked-out bikes (Cross Bones, Night Train, Nightster, Yamaha Warrior), but the V is an exception. I personally don't think a V-rod is a V-rod unless the frame is silver. The big thing that makes it different from any other bike is the shape of the frame, and when it's all black, you lose the signature element of the bike. Think of Emeril without the "BAM" or Pamela Anderson without the boobs (or the Hep, whatever you prefer) and that's a DX. You know what it is, but it's not complete. Then again, I may be biased, since the first V-Rod I ever saw had the silver/black anniversary scheme, and it's been my favorite ever since.

The upkeep of the chrome and etc. isn't really that big of a deal, I usually take 15 minutes before I go out and give it a quick wipe-down, so the bike never actually gets dirty to the point where it's a pain to clean. Never more than some dust and bug guts (and the occasional muddy water spray when I get caught in the rain, which, by the way, sucks with a half helmet).

The Warrior was an ATV, but it's now a motorcycle:

It's actually called a Road Star Warrior, but you get the picture.

Price? Too much

Harley Davidson's guys spent a lot of time designing this bike with a new designed motor along the way too. This is only bike that I really like beside those choppers and sport bikes.

Again, I love your bike! with the air and chromies! its @!#$ sweet!
