hahaha he should of bought the vette
It's pretty. Maybe he can make a pendant out of it.
EPIC Fail there and funny as hell to boot
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
Remember that guy that would always wear an RX-7 Rotor as a pendant?
Seems Mitsu has their version.
Seriously, it sucks, $41K for a new car, and you get shafted that bad, there's no excuse for that. On top of that, a Plastic pedal set... to me that's not a wholly good idea for those of us that live in places that get a real winter. Hopefully, it'll get fixed, I feel bad when guys get @!#$ like that.
"Maybe I was trying to push the pedal to China....which seems to be where it was made"
He says the car is running 8:1 afr and the dealer seems to think that's cool?
I'm glad the Evos in Grand Tourismo have better reliability. Maybe that's where the holy reputatiuon actually stems from.
Did you know that the CEO was once brought up on charges for ignoring necessary recalls.
the issue here is that the pedal's travel stops before the "floor" so it stresses the plastic where it connects to the car... and repeated stress = snap
what i wanna know is who was the genius who said to them selfs ... you know what lets make the peddles out of plastic
apparently people don't realize that plastic can break... why in gods name would they skimp out in probably one of the most important parts of the car..... wow talk about cheap
better the gas pedal than the brake pedal... Seems like a pretty scabby way to design something if you ask me
lol
most new gms have plastic pedals
swapped, supercharged, intercooled, 2.9, fun
Most new cars in general have plastic pedals, brake included.

Now
that's scary.
My gas pedal has a little left/right play, but I'd rather have no gas than no brakes... unless I'm merging onto the highway :\
Fusion 9 Design // For all your web design needs!
I have yet to see a GM pedal snap like that. then again I dont work in a GM dealer anymore. The brake is not as common but is out there.
Yeap most pedal's are plastic, I've yet to see one snap or even come close to braking, and we've got some crazy crap that comes in here.
chryslers have that issue
He bought a 40k Mitsubishi over an LSx. God doesn't like morons.

Better the gas pedal than the brake
12.770 @ 111.99 Intercooled Eaton M62
wonder if he made it over 100% throttle on his drive by wire car by stomping it to the floor??
lol
silly mitsu owners.
I have no comment.
I think the picture speaks for itself!!

*insert
Price is Right fail theme*
But yeah plastic pedals?! Are you kidding me?
There are certain things you can go cheap on but not the friggin pedals!
How many steps to heaven, Doc?
...Ah, metaphysics.
