hey guys, this weekend I'm picking up a new old truck:p. Its a 1980 datsun 720 kingcab. So its a smaller truck, but it'll do. I was just wondering if anyone know of any forums that have plenty of knowledge on datsun because many people dont seem to know datsun very well. This truck also has lots of rust (mostly on the box, fair size hole), so i any tips on welding/fixing that rust would be very useful. I'm going to try to make this lil truck into a 4x4ing beast:p. but it'll take some work.

I owned a 1980 Datsun b210. I loved that little car until it got stolen lol. Can you believe that? Good luck with the truck.....if it's anything like my old car it'll go forever.

I have a buddy of mine that just got done building one on hydralics. Its a mid 70's model with custom 3 link and it lays frame. They are fun little trucks. Good luck with it.

My dad had a '73 Datsun pickup for 20+ years. 300K+, 1 head gasket, 1 clutch. Nothing else major. Sold it about 10 years ago for $300. The guy came back to him 5 years later and said it was the best truck he ever owned.
