Looks like a scam to me. But,

I did know a guy who made hydrogen out of water using electricity for electrolosis and then injected it into the engine.

A gun was developed some time ago that used super high frequency and high voltage applied to water as a propellant. You might think there is a posibility the same tech could be used on cars.

Doesn't look like a scam to me. Fox did a report on one of the developers. He first made a welder and one day thought hey maybe this will work in a car. Tried it out and now has a government contract to build the system for hummers...

Stan Meyer had a water fracturing device that would mate up with a traditional internal combustion engine, inject a corrected air/hydrogen mix, and the engine would just pop it into water vapour again.

He died in about 1998, his lawyer was killed in 9/11/01. And the full breadth of his plans were not known, even though he had several patents.

You know, only if myself and maybe a couple thousand other people did this it wouldn't be too much of a problem. But when you start mass producing this technology into modern day cars and suddenly every car needs water to run instead of gasoline, i think that a shortage of water will cause a much bigger problem than high gas prices. Imagine water starting to cost even 99 cents a gallon, think about when you take a shower, most showerheads emit no more than 2.5 GPM. So for every minute you're in the shower, it costs you $2.50. Water your lawn, more expensive, wash your car, more expensive, fill up your swimming pool, more expensive, you get the picture.

So while this would be a great thing for a LIMITED amount of people, I would not want to see the majority of cars relying on water for power rather than gasoline.

Solar powered, that seems to be the only "long term" solution I can grasp. Beyond fuel cell, beyond electricity (unless you have solar panels that run to the charger for the car).

^Collect rain water.
When I have more time i would like to research this, because honestly running on water is the ONLY (I see) solution to an alternative fuel while using today's technology and resource. Best of all, it can be free.

But most water is salt water and it seems to be an issue with people trying to use water for energy. Desalination is really expensive!

Tesla had some really neat ideas. When he died, his life's work, patents and all were confiscated by the government.
