This car is super fun! I told you guys that i would have photos as soon as i got them. I snapped a few at my friend's house yesterday after i got it detailed. Sorry for the crappy quality.

Sorry to betray you guys by buying JAP, but i fell in love with this car from the first drive!
The engine is immaculate, the interior is good, a little worn, but oh well, the outside has a few dings, but the price was right at only $10,000 for 45K miles. Also, it doesn't necessarily matter what other's think, it's my car, and i have been enjoying the 8100RPM redline so much!

Thats a nice car. My friend has one and its definitely a fun high revving car. You'll enjoy it.
For 10,000 I cant exactly call that a great deal, but uh I guess your happy so grats.
its not betrayal...this isn't a fraternity. You upgraded to a nice car with low miles and a good price. Congrats on the upgrade, I know I enjoyed the hell out of driving my ex gf's RSXS
One of the nicest import body styles ever, I have always loved the RSX'S', and they are sooo fun to drive also, I know you're enjoying it!
Very nice!
V-TAK YO lol jk nice car man enjoy
Uh...does that car say Integra on the back.

Well, the only way it'd be an integra is if:
- the Acura Badges get switched for Honda's
- the steering wheel is moved over to the right hand side
- you had Fuko Love in the passenger's seat.
I think the first 2 aren't all that important.
u gotta change that acura emblem 2 a red honda one! other then that. its hott! and i don't blame u 4 the new buy!

They're pretty nice cars. Once again, for 10k I don't know if I'd say a "good" buy, but hey, you love it so that's what matters
Well i got taxed on 13,800 here in CT, since that's what the blue book is on the car. So i did save a couple thousand. The cash isn't really an issue right now, and it fell right in my price range.
Yes it it an integra badge, im shaving everything except a "type-s" jdm in the front grill. I think that would be awesome.
Im new the whole jap thing, so this gearbox is like BUTTER!
Thanks for the positive feedback, i was sure i would be shunned for going import. hahaha

please...you're far from the first
just because its an import isn't the reason thats a ice gearbox...thats just a properly designed gearbox, that just happens to be in an import. Although I thought they had like...a weak 4th gear or something...I forget..I could be wrong
well, the 04+ has the infamous second gear grind amongst the clubrsx'ers. People have literally had their transmissions replaced because it doesnt even go into second anymore. That's why i bought an 02

An 02 for 10k?
Am I missing something here?

It's not an american car and it holds it's value..lol it's not like our j-bodies that are worth $5 when you drive it off the lot..
Nice buy man..I have always loved those cars..
Nice find, an '02 with 45k?!
Congrats, definately an upgrade.
nice car.
I am not sure on prices on them/what they normally go for, But to me 10k doesnt seem too out of line+ that mileage is great.
good luck with it.
KBB on 2002 RSX-S, 45K I don't know if you can read that, but private party blue book is $13,000. So i feel as if i came out on the good side of the situation.

swap in a K24 and your good to go.
i have a buddy with two RSX-s's and he loves both
the silver one he has it a K24 swap with K20 heads pushing 285 wheel.
and the blue one is a base model with a complete type S swap.
theres also another local one with a jackson racing supercharger. sick @!#$ available for them. im looking into one now... lol
Now that I think about it again, I guess that price isn't bad at all. Especially for the mileage. I still stand by my statement: Nice pick up
Also, I think I like the rims, could we get some better shots of them?
ill get them asap
Im glad i made a good choice.
One of my friend's on Clubrsx.com is like "The reason why i didn't choose the WRX is because while all my friends would be fixing it, i'll still be driving my type-s"

for 10k with only 45k on the clock for a type s is a good deal.. 02s around here with close to 100k still sell for 11-12k.
hows the insurence? i know it doesnt have a good crash test rating
but when i was lookin at buying one before i got my s2000, i was on a few rsx sites. 400frwhp seems to be a safe amount for the stock internals.. K series motors are amazing
12.5@116 2.0 60ft
The insurance for me on a clean record is 120/month.
Not too bad, since the cavalier was 75/month.
and i hear the crash test rating is awesome. everywhere i look there is an airbag.
the only thing wrong with the car that i have seen is the intake piping to the stock airbox was disconnected. It was generally where it should have been, but the TB did look clean still, so i don't think it was disconnected long. Im trying to link 2+2 to figure out why the clamp was so loose.
