They just now made the window a recall?????????? That was one of the most common problems with the Vibe. Never had one shatter but probably fixed 2-3 a week for that issue.

I've said this before but I'll say it again, I can't believe how Toyota can even recall cars better then GM.

GM's included in this (remember, Vibe=Matrix), and GM nor Toyota has a choice on a recall: once it gets to the point that its a safety issue, it's no longer a voluntary recall, it's a mandated recall.

Which is kinda why I put that into question. Why is there no vibe recall. Kinda makes you think, who made the assembly, GM or Toyota?

the Vibe is in the recall, just about 1/4 the number of Matrix. Th plant that makes them is a joint venture by GM and Toyota.
the vibe is a 200,000 something amount for the recall , and was not mentioned in the over 500k for the toyota recall
I have a 2009 matrix and the rear window on the door is soo loose i can move it from the outside, apparently the window installers need a beat down.
