i got a new(to me) 2006 yamaha R6S. only taken it on one ride so far, because of the crappy northeast ohio weather. but that one ride was enough for me to be in love!!!! im on both the r6messagenet.com and r6-forum.com message forums so if anyone else is on there im sure ill see you there!
here is the only pic i have of it rite now. i have a new wind screen, a rear fender eliminator and some frame sliders on order for it til i get some more money, lol

i chose this one because i had my heart set on a black R6 didnt matter what year just as long as it was a 2003 or newer because i like the looks of those specific ones, plus this is my first bike so i didnt want anything newer than an 07. the 'S' just happened to be at the one dealership i went to looking for one. the pipe didnt matter to me anyways since im switching it out, just dont know which one yet.

I really had my heart set on an R6 in blue and white, but I cant afford the insurance on it!
I am 21, and got quoted over $7500 a year for just the bike! Thats nuts.

I am in Ontario Canada.....I pay 4000 a year for my car insurance alone right now...that is for a 2004 Mazda6 i4.......
Then I was quoted over 6000 a year just for the bike from 3 different companies.....talk about getting hosed

thank you.. and yea i found the the titaniam exhaust was to um.. bright?.. for an all blacked out bike i got some nice light weight gold wheels going on it soon
