Here is a video of Mike Karas's car being tuned a few days ago at the shop. Mike had the red turbo 99 Cavalier Z24 that put down 410hp and 404 tq a few years ago.

you didn't notice the eco swap on the cobra its got an m62 off a balt he found in a parking lot

His Cavalier did 410hp and 404 tq. His Cobra just put down a tad bit over 700hp and 693tq at 23psi through a built C4 3 speed transmission.

I also stepped over to the "darkside". I bought a 2000 Mustang GT without a engine for $4,000. I assembled a 2004 Cobra motor with JE pistons and put it in the car. Along with a 6 speed T56 "Dodge Viper" spec transmission, 2.3 liter Whipple supercharger, longtube headers, fuel system, and a built rear-end. Mine put down 583hp and 608 tq.

I was kidding, those cars put down closer to 500whp with only a 1000 bucks in modifications
I'm not a mustang guy but I just can't find a reason to hate the 03-04 cobras...there isn't one

I thought you parted out the sunturd? Is it still serving dd duty?
I parted out the red 2.2 that was turboed with the built motor. Now the car is bone stock except for the 2.4 liter Izuzu gears and B&M shfiter. I am driving that one and the blue Sunfire GT with the built motor & turbo.....I need to sell that one.
