this thing looks hot!
wonder if there is a coupe in the works?
the headlights and the arch on the sides of the hood look really ....strange...
headlights = weeeeeeeeird..... other than that its not bad
definetly could be a little lower, looks like a truck with that stance.
Headlights are weird but I like it.
I had something really funny to put here but it was too long.
Awesome, I love the muscular look it has in the fenders. 100% better than the the current model, the headlights are different...but not something that won't grow on me. Nissan finally got the Maxima right.

not really sure how I feel about that. More exciting than the previous maxima, but...good or bad exciting? Can't tell looks kinda weird. and if you can't tell whether or not a car is pretty its probably not.
It's an improvement on the current one, but in my eyes, pretty much anything is an improvement on the curent one. It's hard to say if I like it or not. I thought the Accord sedan looked bad when I first saw the picture, but now I think it looks great for a family sedan in person.
The last model kicked some serious ass. They turned an eye catcher into an average looking car, like the Camry or Accord.
I like the last Maxima's and Altima's. The new ones are just plain.
The Maxima was great until they turned it into the Altima, and then did a job on the new Maxima... I'm not liking this one much, but maybe that'll change.
I dig it, especially the headlight shape.
Nissan is on their A-game these days in my opinion. Frankly I think the restyling is money and I am yet again not surprised at the JBOs lack of a willingness to accept change willingly.
CVT & Paddle shift: apparently you can take the only thing a CVT has going for it (ie, no shift points, smooth acceleration) and totally negate it... which is brilliant.
(Personally, I'd like to see 6spd trans return to being the standard transmission, and make the 6th gear a little taller for hwy cruising, but what do I know?)
GAM what's in your Altima? is that a 6-speed manual?
I can't see why they can't just offer the manual and optional CVT as the lone auto option like car makers have done for decades.
