GAM, I'm pretty sure if you have the money to buy one of those you didn't do it for an investment. The gas mileage alone that thing gets, or doesn't get, would break you. I'm pretty sure you have wealthy investments somewhere else.
now the real question is
Why?
If i had the money i would rather chill in a hotel, rent the whole floor type thing
but i would hate driving/parking that thing
first if youve got that kinda money you dont have to drive that thing let alone park it... and second... the one in the first post is beautiful... i can only imagine what that thing cost... and im with everyone on the mercedes stuff... if youve got that kinda dough... that would be the tallest car you own...
i just got back from florida for speed weeks and the 500 and everything... which was awesome by the way... but anyways we stayed in an RV in a really nice campground and there were a couple million dollar ones there... there nice inside thats for sure... those pictures really dont do justice...
My aunt and uncle sold their house and bought a Class A motorhome about 2 years ago. It's no where near that gangstered-out inside, and it was used when they bought it, and I want to say they paid over $200,000 for it. They are dirty expensive.

why not. some people enjoy to just get one of those things and travel the open road. home is always with you. some people sell their houses and just travel full time. go where you want when you want and always have home with you. why stay in some hotel laying in a bed were two people got busy in the night before when you can have your own bed. its what some people like and enjoy.
and gam not every purchase someone makes is about getting their money out of it in a few years. for retired folk who want to travel im sure resale value isnt top on their list. enjoying their golden years is. resale value is only a factor if you plan on getting rid of it.
