Would 15" wheels from a 1992 Crown Vic fit on a 2005 Mustang V6?

Just curious, I like the retro look of the old wheels and I have a set with some brand new winter tires on it. I figured that if I ever buy another daily driver it'll probably be a new gen Mustang so I'd want to put that on it, but am not sure if the wheels would fit around the brake calipers/rotors.

Anyone know? It's the same bolt pattern, but am not sure about brake clearance.

I believe the 2005 - 08 Mustang backspacing is different, and the Crown Vic rims would stick out too far.

In my opinion bad idea.

The S197 Mustangs come from the factory with 16 inch wheels (be it steel wheel or otherwise), why go lower?

Not to mention I believe the offsets are very different between the two cars.
