Officially approved. Cadillac announced that a production version of the CTS Coupe Concept unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show will be put into production in the near future, GM didn't say when. The decision was made in an attempt to boost brand sales. Cadillac wants to have 210,000 Cadillac sold by year end. Also to continue the brand’s image boost, Cadillac pushed dealers to emphasize the Platinum series. Cadillac will offer a Platinum series this spring on the Escalade similar to the one it has on the DTS sedan.

Acording to the anouncer guy at the Detroit Auto Show, 2009 will be the CTS-V and 2010 will be the CTS Coupe. I sure hope GM sticks to that plan

Awesome. Different than most of the coupes out there right now.

I just do not like the C-pillar. Everything else is flawless. A V would be amazing. A sure M3 fighter for a fraction of the price.

A V-series would be pretty sweet, even if it didn't have the same 550hp version of the LSA. They've also approved a wagon version, which could be equipped with a turbodiesel V6 when it hits the market, similar to ones offered by BMW and MB.

I'm not going to even think about a V... I know the 3.6 can move my land yacht quite well...

Give me a 6 spd manual, a smaller car, and 50 more hp over what i have now... I'm sure it will be enough to get me in trouble


I'm still having trouble picking between this, a G8, or the new Camaro though...
