look it over really good befor buying it. is it at a GM dealer if so it has the 5year 100k warrenty so you should be all set. but that is def a good price for the car.

I dunno, with 15k on it that's a bit much. I got my Cobalt LS, 5-speed with no options brand new for ~$12,000 so unless you can justify the random springs/shocks, intake, tires and wheels, and tint making a used car worth almost as much as a new car, I'd pass.

Yes my friend got the same deal. Offer them like 9000 and go from there. Are there any options on the LS. I know it is the bottom of the barrel trim, but does it have PW, PD, PM, keyless or anything like that? It's a buyer's market right now for cars, with the season and the economy, so take advantage of it. I know i did KAPPA FTW!!

I think he'd have to find a LT to get the PW, PD, PM, keyless etc... standard so hopefully the previous owner had some options tacked onto it. If that's the case then it'd be his call on whether or not he wants it. Make sure it comes with the 5yr/100k mile warranty though.

thanks for the input yes JDM ish rims means JDM style rims OG gold 16' the owner was arrested and the car was bought at a cop auction because the guy couldn't make all the payments in the can... in so. cal 15,000 miles a year is completely understandable, so mileage seems fine to me, I just thought as soon as i saw it that it could get the Greddy turbo made for the ls/lt cavs.... i mean cobalts FTW?? once again thanks for the input i 'll definatley have to give it some more thought though...

Definitely...unless you know the owner personally.

looks like this might be the best bet as it seems that my head might have stripped threading on one of the spark plugs... and I don't know which one is cheaper... refinance a $10,000 car or get a new head and whatever else the dealership finds wrong with the engine. more input is needed.... thx
