2001 Chevy Blazer Speakers

Hello,

I have a 2001 blazer 2 door 4x4, and i can't figure out anything about the speakers. I can't figure out how to get TO the rear speakers to replace them, and for the fronts, I can get the door panel off, but then the speakers are RIVETED to the backing. Anybody know how to change out the speakers on this truck??? I am sick of the rattling

Thank you

drill the rivets out and screw the new 1's in

the rears are in the side panels , and are bitch , you either gotta remove the whole side panel , or pull it up and wedge yourself in there

Yea, the whole side panel has to come out (I've been procrastinating on my ZR2 for that reason) and the door speakers, you can leave that blue holder that's riveted to the door and there are 4 screws holding the speaker to the holder. just reuse the holder and save your self the headache.

in my dads 01 4 door, i just took the four panels off, pulled off the little foam ring around the speakers, unscrewed them and replaced with new ones. real easy imo, there was no rivets involved, just reused the stock holder/mount

X2! i 've been procrastinating too, I have all new Infinity Reference 6x9, 6 1/2, and 4x6 plates waiting to go in my ZR2...need some nice weather...and some more patience lol

But yeah the easiest way (sounds ironic) is to take the rear panels off, and yes re-use those plates that are riveted in saves a head ache and a half
