So, I live in a pretty small "hick" town in western Illinois. It's not everyday that I see even a Corvette really. But, today as I'm heading into town with my parents, I see a white Gallardo pull off the interstate and head into town. So, my dad followed it. I got a kinda crappy pic of the rear end of it with my phone when we were caught behind it at a stop light. I think he noticed I was doing it and drooling. Because, as soon as it turned green, he eased off and hammered it. HOLY SH*T!!!!!! It screamed and took off so fast. I think I messed my pants after it happened. Just figured I'd share my experience.
Here's my pic I took with my phone.

Yeah, it had Florida plates on it. So, it had a long trip in the snow. I'd feel bad driving a Gallardo in the snow and salt. The car was pretty filthy.

That duck seems lost...
How many steps to heaven, Doc?
...Ah, metaphysics.
I'd be too scared to drive a Gallardo in the snow, not because of it's power either. I would be afraid some dumbass would be paying more attention to how nice my car is, rather than paying attention to the road conditions and slam right into me, and not have any insurance.
That guy has balls. NICE freaking car.

Gas money to make it all the way there...wow.

I see what you did there.
And I do agree, but I wouldn't want to drive my pride and joy in crappy conditions in fear of a retard hitting me. Of course, there is a chance of that all the time.. but it just gets worse when the weather is worse.

I heard that the Gallardo is actually his daily driver.....
his pride and joy is a 87 chevette?
^^^^lol. Chevettes are badass man. My mom bought one like 6 or 7 years ago to save money on gas when my dad got laid off. It was a beast. My brother drove it one time and we couldn't get it to spin the tires in loose gravel. It also took us about 5 minutes to hit 85 going downhill.

Its the Italian WRX STi. Wrap those sexy rims it has in some vicious snow tires and have fun. Mind you, I saw one wrecked in my neighborhood. It was at a detailing shop waiting to be picked up for salvage. Rear end hit. The rear bumper alone was apparently $69,000 CDN. Oops.. lol.
I knew I was being followed that day!
I love the fact that he was out driving his Lambo on a cold, snowy day. That's a man who knows what cars are for, even expensive, fast ones. Driving.

^^^ the only lambo ive been close enough to touch was a total loss too.
we got it at work it was a 2003 Murcielago. silver with the pass door, 1/4 panel, rear wheel cleaned right off of it. MY GOD was that a hot car. i must have spent an hour sitting in it drooling. then when we started it i almost had to go home and change.

No kidding! If the car didn't already say..."hey! look i'm rich!" the fact that he could afford to drive it that far cements it.
