I'd say...no. But if someone has the money and just wants to drop in an LSx that would make their job alot easier...

Yes, FD3S is worth that much. Maybe a tad less considering the overall condition of the vehicle combined with a salvage title. If it wasn't for the title, it would be worth a bit more then what he is asking. Typical good condition cars with either a blown engine or no engine typically go from between $6k to $10k. Good running cars can average anywhere between $20k and $30k.

The popularity of those and LSx swaps has driven the demand up higher, thus more people trying to get top dollar for them.

For under 20, possibly 15g's you could have a pretty amazing all around car right there.

NOTE TO CAR GUYS: An LSx swap into a Japanese car is a horrible idea. It'd be like putting a BMW V12 into a 1969 Camaro. Doesn't matter if the engine is awesome, it just wouldn't feel right.

Anyway, RX-7's have always been worth a lot of money. Not many made and everyone wants one because they handle awesome and are one of the few truly exotic Japanese cars. It's the same with the Supra, NSX and S2000.

The JDM versions are now coming way down in price, I have a customer who just got one, RHD twin turbo with 45k on it and not one spec of rust anywhere. Plus it came with a full cage, lots of HKS gear, two peice bbs wheels and it only set him back $10,000 Canadian, taxes in and registered for the road. If I were to get one it would be from Japan. On another note I have a customers car here that is a 91 Fairlady 300zx from Japan. Only 35,000kms on it, RHD, twin turbo and again not one spec of rust anywhere. That one he got for only $6000 Canadian.

If Flordia wasn't so damn far, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

LS1 + T56 + FD = Sex on a leaf.

Dave is right, although you may be a little off on your prices. I've seen nice ones going about 15k. There was one or two up on LS1tech.com for sale with LSx swaps already done. One was 23k forgot the price on the other. I wanna say around 26 or 27 but it was H/C and some bolt ons.

Yup that price included everything including registering it for the road. The front fender was damaged in shipping so they gave him $1000 off the sale price. He works in a body shop so it wasen't really a big deal to him.
