I am thinking about getting a supercharger for my 02 Sierra with the Vortec 5300. I miss boost

What ones should I be looking at?

Are there other mods I will need to do to the truck first before going with boost?

Anything else I need to consider?

Procharger is okay, Whipple better, apparently the Radix is the best.

long tube headers and 3" y-pipe , and full 3" exhaust

first, obviously, what are your goals?

but before I put any power adder on your truck, I would definetly upgrade that transmission. Get a built 4L60e or somethin. I'd head over to performancetrucks.net and read up a little bit.

That's all I read about as well. Transmissions seem to go fast on boosted trucks.
