I'm now in the Jeep family....

Well we ended up getting rid of our 07 Volvo S40 because the lease payments were more than what we wanted to pay. The Volvo dealership paid off our lease....woot(a few other dealerships in town only offered us $18K. ).

They happened to have an 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 on their lot with only 16,000 miles on it. Some woman traded it in on a new XC90. We love it so far and I can't wait until the snow hits. Here are a couple quick pics:

Cool, does it have that new V6 or is it still the 4.0 I6? Hows the power and MPG?

Looks great man, I love the look of the newer Grand Cherokees.

It would look even better with a lift

Have a good one,
Justin

Looks great man. IS that a dark gray or brown?

I agree that's BS on the Volvo's.

Thanks for the comments! I think it has the 3.7 L V6, but I could be wrong...hehe. So far the MPG is not bad....I think it averages about 17mpg combined....have yet to hit empty yet.

I would love to lift it, but I think my wife would have my balls in a sling.

They call it a Dark Khaki Pearlcoat. It is really weird because in our garage it looks like a dark gray and in the sun it's a dark brown....lol.

Its either the 3.7 V6 or 4.7/5.7 V8. They didnt offer the 4.0 in the WK.

Annnnyways, nice pick up. How much? And be careful, many many bugs to be worked out in the 05 models.

It's the 3.7 V6......I wouldn't have minded the V8, but we don't haul/tow anything at all so the V6 will do.

We got it for about 17K with 4 yr/48000 mile service contract also(there is still a year left on the original warranty ) so we should be ok if something goes wrong. Loving it so far! I would like to get another Jeep...hehe.
