Im helping out a buddy of mine with his neon suspension, but i dont know very much about them. I read around a few neon forums, but couldnt find the answers i was looking for. and id rather check here then sign up for a bunch of forums to ask the questions.

so.......he has an 00-04 neon and hes looking for new struts and springs to replace his air ride. what im not sure of is wether the 00-04 stock suspension is the same as the 05+ suspension or even SRT suspension. or if the 00-04 suspension is completely different.

basically im buying him lowering springs and stock struts in exchange for the air setup. so i need to know if i need to look for specifically 00-04 struts or can i look into newer parts?

The SRT mounts and struts will work on the base normal Neon. My friend Henry has been through countless suspension setups. He would be a great source or info. Just email him, and he will email you back.
His car handles better than anyone I know....with slight over steer.

so even if its an 00-04 the SRT stuff will fit? doesnt have to be 05+ ?

and thanks for the link!! any chance if you know if he has a set of stock struts laying around he might wanna get rid of?

I sure he has a few sets of all different kinds. LOL
I think he had at least 4 different combos we put on and off his car.

i think that all neons are basically the same, from 95-up

^^^ i thought the same thing, but for example on Tenzo's site, it only lists for 00-04. so im not sure. on that same site for J-body's, it shows 95-05 so I would assume they would have the up to date info if it was all interchangable
