Man, the front bumper on that Prelude makes me want to go punch a baby... well not exactly, but wow that @!#$ is hideous. I still don't get how the primer black neons managed to beat it though, I'm not alone in seeing 2 nasty POS looking neons am I? I mean heck, your Cavy is more award deserving than the one with headlight covers.

idk if i should take that as a compliment or what lol. i appreciate your opinion in thinking that i should have beat them. thank you. idk if you don't like my car or if it's just the way it came out by the wording. no worries either way. i completely understand that the prelude beat me, and i completely understand that my car is not the best looking currently. it's obviously not done yet. and no, you're not alone in what you see.
lol dont be down on yourself... i love the way your car's ass end is coming along. the rest is great too but specifically the rear. now just get it finished... i am to inpatient for these huge projects even though there great to see, lol.

My comment did come out a little rough and not quite like I wanted. No disrespect for your car intended, car shows just put me off sometimes, anything that is left up to opinion has the potential to be swayed way too easily. Especially when people know judges and things of that nature. For instance I got hosed so bad at the last show I put my car in that I'll never show my car again.

it's all good man. i realize that whether your comment was disrespectful or not that i cannot satisfy everyone with my vehicle. i satisy myself and that's all that matters. i completely understand your view though. i've seen friends get screwed over enough times to know that shows are often...biased to say the least. sucks that you were left with that bad of a taste in your mouth. if nothing else i at least got to meet some cool people and see some cool things. on the bad side, my trunk isn't water tight so i fear that when we (my gf and i) drove down here last night in the pouring rain it may have destroyed my jl 1000/1 amp because my spare tire well was a puddle and that's where my amp was placed. thank you for clearing that up though man. i appreciate your reply.
fpz24-there were no drop top cavs. there was however an orange sebring that was pretty nice from what i saw. sorry i didn't take more pics.
Damn that uber blows ass about your amp, I'm sure that won't be cheap to replace. Really, I guess I shouldn't say I'll never show my car again, I'll just do it at an event that is more professional. In doing so I'll probably get out classed, but I'll atleast know I didn't get screwed which is what made the last show so tough to go through. No matter what would have been done to my car that day I wasn't going to get an award... some people are just too greedy for that.
But I agree with you 100%, build your car for you, as long as you're happy with it that is all that matters in the end. Hell, it takes a lot of balls to undertake a project like the one you're doing. If you're not willing to see it through to the end it'll probably end up in the junkyard, it takes a lot of fortitude to see a body project of your magnitude through. Plus body work is a little different than wrenching. Anyone can turn a wrench, some just do it more educated and effectively than others. Body work is a skill that can be improved upon for a lifetime. I've painted a 5 or 6 cars, slung some mud, and have good equipment, but a project like that is something over my head by a lot.

yea, i didn't get any pics of the supra. i honestly didn't even take a very close look at it. the exterior seemed to be relatively stock and i was more wandering around looking at the things that stood out more to me. kris said he took some pics. hopefully he'll post them up on here someplace. maybe he got some more images of it. i've gotta go pack and head home now.
