A classic mini would be the perfect project car, just park it sideways in the shed when it needs to be worked on

But seriously, didn't those 900-1300cc engines only get 30-60 horsepower? Any honda engine that is small enough and light weight would be a step up, in power and reliability. They are alot cheaper to find than the old A-series engines anyway. It'd be a blast to have 200HP in a 1400lb car, the new mini's are pigs in comparison at double the weight.

The old style is just dead sexy!
