Hmmmmmm?

Well it's a slightly different bend on the concept car. But thankfully they managed to make
it still look good. I was really digging the concepts look, but so-far i'm digging this cars
look. It's not quite the same, but at least it still works. One thing I can now say is I'm
very glad it's not an obvious 350Z/G35 clone. The concept looked a little TOO G35'ish.

But am i the only one getting a Mitsubishi Eclipse vibe from the front view?
Over all i dig it. I've been waiting for this and the Camaro to be unveiled to make my decision
on my next car. And in my opinion the Camaro will as played out as the Mustangs are now in a
year or 2 after it comes out. This will still be a slightly exclusive vehicle so i'll squash buying a
Camaro and wait one more year and get a GT-R.

the car itself was a good idea by nissan

but, just not feelin' the styling. it looks like it is trying to look super futuristic. but not really pulling it off. the z06, though lacking awd, just looks so much more agressive

you are not going to get me to pay 80k for that. I would rather buy a z06 or a mustang and biuld it to go that fast.

No doubt, i love the Z06. And i love the styling...but I like the styling of this car too. I think it actually is the uber-modern design i like
about it. Plus all the amazing technology they put into it i think it will be a lot harder to figure out where to spend 80 grand come a year
from now.

192mph GTR "Corvette killer" . . . Isn't the Z06's top speed 198mph? lol.

The front looks awesome. Would kinda like to see the whole package.

The title is marketing hype so you'll buy the magazine.

Every new performance car is a something-killer ... ferrari-killer, porsche-killer, bugatti-killer ...

The new ZR1 Vette is supposed to be a BabyJesus-Killer ... and it can fly.

Always loved the way they looked, but the wording made me laugh...

First of all, its not faster than the vette, and second of all, its 10k more than the Z06.

Who am i kidding, id still drive it

ok... one more time... this is NOT A SKYLINE GTR... there is no "older one". this is a different car all together. christ, people see the "gtr" thing and think "omg they're bringing back the skyline. just like every "GT" must be a mustang and every "SS" must be a camaro right?

On the other hand....you have other fingers.

much better that the old one.

sorry had to do it.

It might not be a vette killer, but competition is always good

THANK GOD they didn't go with the Concept front-end.

Corvette Killer? Maybe, but a lot of companies claim it, and few can "kill a Corvette" in every category without far exceeding the Vette's sticker price.

Twin-turbo V6, spits out 473 hp and 433 lb-ft of torque, driving all four wheels through a rear-mounted transaxle. In between is a GR6 dual-clutch six-speed automatic you can operate via paddles on the steering wheel. See it next week's at the Tokyo motor show.

damn you Mr.Goodwrench lol.... you posted the interior pics while I was typing.
I liked the front end, but now that I see the interior pics... I'm not so sure... it's a little too busy for my liking.

That car has many miles to travel before it can dream of calling itself a Corvette killer.

Like overseas and to the US most importantly. Once we get them here and have em on the streets we'll see how many Vettes they put down. I mean sure it's supposed to be able to run with one in stock form, but how many people keep their Corvette's stock anymore?

It's been happening for years, and it will only continue. Big daddy with the modded Vette is still going to have a chuckle at the expense of the guy who thinks he has hot @!#$.

Anyone ever seen that vid of the Red Lingenfelter c5 curb stomping the turbo dsm at night in cedar falls, iowa? Reminds me of the future.

Don't get me wrong, I love Skylines, and I think Nissan is probably the best car company in business right now. But Corvette killer... G U NOT.

Wow. I hate it so much. It looks awefull. But if I ever drove one, I'm sure I'd fall in love with it, like a mother still loves her ugly child.

they made it look a little better, but its still ugly and I still hate it

Celica? The whole damn thing looks like a stretched and widened 350Z, minus the garish silver door handles. I feel the same about putting a GTR badge on this thing as most mustang fanatics felt back when ford told them the Probe was going to be the new Mustang....
