stunters prayer
Current mood: mellow
Dear Lord,
Watch over me and my family of motorcycles as we go into the streets.
Protect us from the four wheeled demons. Make us seen so we will not
have our life taken by someone not paying attention. Keep us from harm.
Let it be known, "we are coming". Watch over us as we wheelie down the
streets and highways. Forgive us for the laws that we break for it is only out
fun that we do so and not to harm anyone.
be safe man i cant count how many times ive been cut off by cars and trucks just not paying attention
50 shot

those bikes are great to learn on, i learned on a f4i then bought a cbr 900rr just like u i loveeee the power. such a rush. Ride safe man!
Yeah all my buddies recommended an F4i to learn on....sooo forgiving. I plan on riding it the rest of this season (here in Victoria stays nice enough until Nov/Dec), and next season as well....then see if I want a bigger bike.
Thanks for all the comments and Safe Riding Wishes....never realized how small we actually are on the road until now.

Learn on an F4i as in your first bike? Good luck and keep safe. And no, there is no affordable reliable car under 15k that will come close to touching the speed or thrill of a modern 600cc bike. Excluding highly modified because they cannot touch the reliability of a stock 600cc bike. Hell, I haven't hit redline on mine yet, and frankly I'm scared to..over 70 in first gear.
looks like either someone did a burnout on your tires or you've got the worlds largest chicken strips
Its my first street bike...been on dirtbikes growing up, but this pavement thing is all new to me! The tires are next to new, road construction out in front of my condo has the road covered in sand/gravel/dirt....hence the area looking all chicken stripped. Thats the only thing that makes me nervous, is the filthy road, making things all slippery. So i keep it pretty upright around my place, and pretty slow....heard way too many horror stories of tapping front break and it low siding people.

cool, cool, I was just messing around. The only thing you really have to be careful of is gravel patches and oily spots located on on-ramps and toll booths. Stop lights aren't so bad and with dusty roads just take it easy and keep it more or less upright. It makes the cavalier feel like a turd doesn't it
fortunately MSF does teach some really good info. don't brake during turns as it throws your lines way off and can make you susceptible to crash / lock up a wheel and skid.
