I just pulled the tranny on this grand am (93) 3.3l v6. THe model is what appears to be 3ARC? Tirbo Hydra-matic. Can anyone give any more info on this please? I was expecting to see 3t40 somewhere but all I can find is 3ARC? Dunno?
Its more likely a 60 series trans. 40 series are seen more often behind 4 cyl engines.
Actually, no. If it's a 3.3L, I don't think they ever came with a 60 series (which would have been a 4T60/TH440T). It should be a 3T40/TH125, as has been stated in multiple other threads.
