im looking into a 07 g5 base with a 5 speed....whats stock 1/4 mile time.....do you know anyplace that offers body kits and just for it

next im getting multiple cylander missfire prolly due to coils i just changed the plugs to see it that would be the issue but its not and i hope its not the ignition control mod cause thats like 500 bucks retail i work at carquest so i get a 10% above cost discount which still makes it like 250

I am not insulting the capabilities of the VW at all, I just find anything Mk4 + has more issues. Electrical, Older 1.8's sludging up, and such. Fantastic cars though, much better built then a J.
(Ask Mars about running 12's in his 2nd gen 3400 swapped Cavy
. 0 issues, and about 4000 $ invested including the price of the car
. Performance does not get much cheaper then that !

i have had 0 issues from my car from 0 to 100k miles and i have a gt28 turbo running a solid 30 psi with no problems till now and i have had an 11 second vw for 70k miles making runs almost every week with no problems at all then only thing i change constantly is spark plugs
you find me a cavy running 30 psi for 70k miles or lets say any car with 30 psi for 70k with no issues find me one and i will quietly bow out and call you a god
i would but a vw again no question just dont want to cause i want something new i want a car thats slow out of the box i want to be the underdog....i want to be the guy who has a car thats normally slow and make it run 13s thats what i want
btw i bought my vw brand new for 18000 and i got 10000 for a trade in i only lost 8grand in 5 years not bad find me a cavi or sunfire that does that

anyways i myself have a pretty fast car( 98 T/A) but like you am looking for something different... you should have just stated in the topic what you expressed with your last post in that you want a new car that doesnt have electrical problems and thats possibly an under dog ....
with that said you should get a yaris and turbo the crap out of it... A nice turbo set up and a few bolt ons im sure you could get that 1.5L engine to 200Whp easily. im sure a good driver could hit mid 13's with that much power in one as they only weigh around 2200lbs. ZPI before they closed had a kit that made 180whp on a stock engine running i think 6 or 7 psi thats not to bad if you ask me. i also read at the yarisworld forum that the hatches are very very good AutoX cars.
besides the 4dr yaris S isnt actually all that bad looking of a car and a the hatch looks really nice with a body kit
only thing thats keeping me away from one is the center mounted guages and the lack of a tach
...o and did i mention they get 40mpg
i have a G5 GT and i love it very fun car
I say get whatever floats your boat. If everyone who were looking for a car were to listen to at least half the people that post on the Other Cars sub forums, we would all be driving vehicles powered by an LS-1.
Dare to be different. G5 isn't a bad choice at all.
