Hey guys, does anyone know how much the GM supplier discount is. Through my work I get discounts off of gm, ford, diamler chrysler, infniti and mercedes. I wanna buy a new cobalt tho. Does anyone know what type of savings I will get? I was told its 1% below the cost ot the dealer. Or if anyone knows what the discount are for any of those brands are. thanks

usually its 500 over dealer cost.

^^that is the GM employee discount.. the suplier is a little higher than that I believe around 1000 over cost depending on the cost of the vehcile. I just went through one in feb.

$500 over cost for employees, not sure about suppliers though. I know you get a number to call and get the discount code.

If you get the discount through you work, you should be able to log on to the website with you companies code and check the price. Check with your HR dept.

It wasn't alot I remember.

I get the GM supplier discount but didn't even bother using it because it wasn't worth it really.

It was worth it when I bought my Aura. I got an extra $1200 off of Saturn's "No Haggle" price.

With the Cobalt you could negotiate a better deal....

what you need to do is haggle first then after everything is final, thow in the GMSP price and you can take that much extra off.. thats what I did, walked out 5K off the sticker price with my trailblazer
