If you've ever wondered what automotive heaven was like, LPE's facility in Decatur, IN is probably it. Nondescript brown metal building off of the highway, with no flashy signage or identification. In the bullpen behind the main building lies countless LS1/2/6/7/x powered vehicles, along with a nice mixture of Hummers, Escalades and other SUVs. Inside, Corvettes with no driveline, yet with a window sticker intact.

yea its ashame that John passed, just before he passed he was going to start working on the GM 4 cyl cars. If I remember corectly he was killed in is ECOTEC drag cavalier.

He wasn't killed in the car, but he did wreck that car from what I hear. He was in a coma, and passed away on Christmas of 2005 I believe.

Ling427ttvette I think your right on that one he was in a coma . A friend of mine from Ft Wayne Indiana his uncle works up there, I think his name is Dan or Dave I couldnet remember I only meet him once wen we picked up the TA, but anyways they put some goodies in Tonys 97 TA and I tell you what 525 whp was fun to drive.
