michigan is a muscle car state, uppety rich guy cars that are really over priced just dont do well here. If you live in michigan and want a fast badass car, you get an LSX car, SVT Cobra, or some other disgustingly powerful car that hogs more gas than 10 Priuses put together.

Not to mention michigans economy is currently the worst in the country, we cant afford dem purdy und fancy dancy cars. Michigan also has the highest rate of people leaving the state to find work.
