Wow, that list surprises me. All of GM is "below industry average" and Mazda is 2nd to worst!
ford lincoln and mercury are better than the average while all of GM is worse than the average
and chrysler, hahaha forget about it
hyundai and kia are right at the average, good for them
VW still sucks... big surprise
Anyone notice that there isnt much of a shifter between, like Ford and Audi, but Chrysler on down... Holy crap.
I'm sorry. I don't speak gibberish. Review what you write before you post!
I find it a little odd that after Audi, it takes a huge jump..20+ problems. And I wonder: the Hummers (and I mean the trucks), did people bring them back because they had like 8gallons per mile fuel economy?
I'd be more inclined to believe it was those who thought it was an actual hummer (H1)...
Irony: Mazda is 2nd from the bottom overall, yet the Miata won the "Compact Sporty Car" segment. That's almost scary to think what that means for the rest of Mazda's line.

I know... hence "
initial quality." However, Initial quality goes a long way in overall perceived quality. It's kinda like a first impression. Bad ones lead to people dwelling on or finding more mistakes later on. Good one's lead to people thinking "nah, it's not that big of a deal."
My statement still stands. The first time you sit in a high HP vehicle, you want to get on it. I'm sure people with new Hummer's thinking they are actually a real Hummer, and not a toy version.
Same may be true for Jeeps for their off-road capabilities,.
Highest ranked large car: Pontiac Grand Prix
Wow.
