1995 bonneville twilight sentinel...

My 89 cavalier z24 had to be stored away. He needs too much work and I can't afford to get to it right now. So i bought a junker for 1750....

all in all its not a bad car. Mostly cosmetic stuff that i need to attend to, however I notice at night I have NO lights in my dashboard at night. During the day my radio lights up and I can see the time, but as soon as the car notices that it is dark outside, my headlights turn on and all of my accessories inside the car go out. On my dashboard, my blinkers will still work and the other misc lights (fasten seat belts, check engine....etc) will still work as well, but I think those are connected into indiviual bulbs.

I know that there is a twilight sentinel switch in the dash that might have gone bad, but I don't know if that is the problem for sure. There is three different settings for this switch too. There is all the way in, half way out, and all the way out.......i don't notice a difference with any of them.

If anyone has any ideas that would be great. Thanks for the help.

have you tried the DIMMER ? or check the IPC fuse ?

the twilight turns on ALL the lights , just like if you manually turned them on
