Do all blowers sound sexy? I've driven lots of turbo'd cars and just love the sound. I'd love to try a S/C because of the powerband, but I'm curious about the sound..what's the difference in sounds between the different types of chargers?

Have a look at Airtonic's post. There's a video of his car in there thats freakin amazing. I love s/c'ed ecos.

My GTP used to make this crazy ass whining noise when I gave it some gas, so I tooking to the dealer to complain, they took the belt off that thing on top of the engine, now it is quiet as a kitten. Problem solved.

i dunno. i heard that thing restricts airflow like a motha. that and the parasidic loss, you had to gain at least 35hp.

My sunbird used to have a nice blow off sound to it...but thats only cause the headgasket had a hole in it at cylinder 3...still sounded cool!
